Long Lonesome Highway: The Story of Michael Parksis an unflinching and intimate portrayal of the life and career of actor Michael Parks, a man whose journey through the Hollywood system was as unpredictable and unique as the roles he portrayed.
Once dubbed “the greatest living actor” by Quentin Tarantino, Michael’s career swung the pendulum between the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. When “discovered” by Lew Wasserman, Michael starred in some of the biggest blockbusters of the time, however, when he bit the hand that fed him, Wasserman had him relegated to TV, and later to having no career at all. Michael’s answer? Pivot to music, where he recorded several gold albums, performed with Johnny Cash, and on the Ed Sullivan show.
Despite living on the outside of the movie industry for decades, Michael continued to take the work where he could get it, resulting in dozens of small, yet incredibly noteworthy performances in B-movies and TV. All this hard work culminated in the resurrection of his career at the hands of filmmakers such as Quentin Tarantino, Robert Rodriguez, Mark Frost, Kevin Smith, and many more.
Michael first met filmmaker Josh Roush on the set of Kevin Smith’s movie Tusk, where Josh was working as a behind the scenes cameraman. Due to Michael’s declining health at the time, Kevin asked Josh to change gears and be his personal assistant throughout the shoot. Though the older curmudgeonly actor and the young brash Punk Rocker had little aesthetically in common, the two struck up an immediate friendship that lasted until Michael’s passing and resulted in Josh creating this documentary in his honor.

A sexless couple, paranoid about the status of their relationship, embraces surveillance, spying and performance as a means to fall in love again, in this absurd, high-concept comedy.
When Celine begins filming a documentary about her failing relationship, her boyfriend, Jay, becomes suspicious that she may have an ulterior motive: to cancel him. In a paranoid attempt to seize authorship over the film, Jay sets up hidden cameras and tries to entrap Celine into problematic behavior he can record as insurance. As their secret surveillance escalates, they find themselves creating a movie full of absurd, erotic and highly performative scenes, with a wild cast of characters. But when another couple’s whirlwind marriage puts Jay and Celine’s dysfunctional dynamic into perspective, the two of them must use all the cinematic moments they've shared to try and save their love, in this high-concept relationship comedy that asks, “Who’s in control of the narrative?”

Director: David Cronenberg
Starring: Vincent Cassel, Diane Kruger, Guy Pearce, Sandrine Holt
Format: DCP
Running Time: 2hr
In an eerie, deceptively placid near-future, a techno-entrepreneur named Karsh (Vincent Cassel) has developed a new software that will allow the bereaved to bear witness to the gradual decay of loved ones dead and buried in the earth. While Karsh is still reeling from the loss of his wife (Diane Kruger) from cancer—and falling into a peculiar sexual relationship with his wife’s sister (also Kruger)—a spate of vandalized graves utilizing his “shroud” technology begins to put his enterprise at risk, leading him to uncover a potentially vast conspiracy. Written following the death of the director’s wife, the new film from David Cronenberg is both a profoundly personal reckoning with grief and a descent into noir-tinged dystopia, set in an ominous world of self-driving cars, data theft, and A.I. personal assistants. Offering Cronenberg’s customary balance of malevolence and wit, The Shrouds is a sly and thought-provoking consideration of the corporeal and the digital, the mortal and the infinite.

An audio-visual experience from Mark Pritchard, Thom Yorke, and Jonathan Zadawa.
Fabled English record producer Mark Pritchard, luminary songwriter Thom Yorke and groundbreaking visual artist Jonathan Zawada present Tall Tales – a debut collaborative visual and audio cinema experience a decade in the making. Landscapes of synth-pop, prog, dub, 70s synth, Joe Meek, Ivor Cutler, Library, kraut and classic Warp™️ – Tall Tales sounds like musicians meeting in the Hinterland. Transmitted by Australian visual artist Jonathan Zawada, Tall Tales is a fairy tale for the modern world; depicting rising tides, kings & queens, amazon logistics and robotic arms under iridescent skies. We wanted computers to do our accounting – instead, they try to paint our pictures and sing our songs. Like all good fairy tales – this work edges light with the dark as Thom's echoed chants intertwine with Mark's shimmering electronics. On Tall Tales, we hear seasoned musicians continue down the path of experimentation.
A prophetic visual album, Tall Tales has been years in the making, but delivered right on time.
